NeonNow Release 3.36 is a major update to Outreach and Admin. Outreach now has its own contact database, with custom fields and segments that keep campaign audiences up to date, plus reusable templates and brands. Admin introduces a new way to build a contact centre with IQ, and a Campaign Manager role for the people who run your campaigns.

1.1 Fixes
- Attached Data: Resolved an issue where audio links containing a query string did not show the audio player.
1.1 [New] Contacts
Outreach now keeps your contacts for you, so you no longer need to upload a file every time you want to send a campaign.
- Add, view, edit and delete contacts one at a time from the new Contacts page.
- Upload contacts in bulk with a step-by-step import wizard.
- Contact lists from earlier uploads can now be deleted when you no longer need them.
1.2 [New] Custom Fields
You can now decide what information is stored against each contact by creating your own fields.
- Fields are managed from their own page and can be used anywhere in Outreach, including template variables.
- Date fields have a calendar picker that lets you jump straight to a month and year.
1.3 [New] Segments
A segment is a group of contacts that match the conditions you set, and it keeps itself up to date as your contacts change.
- Segment membership is recalculated automatically, and you can refresh a segment yourself at any time.
- Each segment has its own page showing who is in it, and segments can be duplicated.
1.4 [New] Campaign Audiences
Campaigns can now be sent to All Contacts or to a segment, as well as to an uploaded file.
- When a run uses All Contacts or a segment, its recipients are worked out when the run starts, so it always goes to your latest contacts.
- Each run has a new Audience page showing exactly who it is going to.
- Duplicating a run now shows a preview of what will be sent before you confirm.
1.5 [New] Templates
You can now create SMS and email templates once and reuse them across all your campaigns.
- Email templates can be built in the design editor or in code, and can include attachments.
- Variables are picked from your real Outreach fields, and each one can have a default value for contacts who do not have one.
- Start a campaign from a saved template, or build your own and save it as a template for next time.
- Campaigns you created before this release are moved across for you and keep their existing content.
1.6 [New] Brands
A brand holds the header, footer and sender details that make your messages look and sound like you.
- Apply a brand to a template or a campaign, and every message picks up the same header, footer and sender.
- The campaign summary shows which sender will be used from the linked brand.
1.7 Other Changes
- Navigation: Outreach now has its own submenu, with separate pages for contacts, custom fields, campaigns and settings.
- Settings: Outreach Settings has moved to its own page, and changing your SMS sender strategy now asks you to confirm first.
- Senders: Senders that are no longer available are now clearly marked, and locked sender fields can no longer be changed.
Admin
1.1 [New] Build a Contact Centre with IQ
You can now set up a new contact centre by talking it through with IQ, which builds it for you step by step.
- When you create a contact centre, you can now choose to build it with IQ or set it up the existing way.
- IQ guides you through connecting your AWS account, telling it about your business, your interaction outcomes and data, and your queues.
- A summary lets you check everything before the build starts, and you can follow each phase as your contact centre is built.
- Your progress is saved as a draft, so you can leave and pick up where you left off. Drafts can be deleted, but contact centres that have been built cannot.
1.2 [New] Campaign Manager Role
There is a new Campaign Manager role for the people who run your Outreach campaigns.
- Campaign Managers can work in Outreach without being given full admin access.
- You can pick the role when inviting a user or updating an existing one, and it shows as a badge in your user list.
1.3 Fixes
- SCIM Custom User Mappings: Resolved an issue where only the first 100 routing profiles were shown.
- Operational Parameters: Resolved an issue where some custom values could not be saved because of incorrect name validation.
- CX Page: Resolved an issue where the Add Contact Centre and Get Started buttons were shown to the wrong roles.
- Queue Filters: Resolved an issue where a placeholder showed a real value when editing.
- Visual Fixes: Resolved an issue where the enterprise feature icon appeared on pages it should not.
- SCIM Provisioning: Resolved an issue where users whose email address or username contains an apostrophe could not be provisioned.
